New Blog for Nathanael

We recently started fundraising with COTA to cover Nathanael's medical expenses, so updates about him will be on his new blog from now on: www.COTAforNathanaelB.com. Please check out the blog, pictures, and opportunities to help, and feel free to pass along the link to others. We appreciate your concern!

Trail West Young Life Family Camp, Buena Vista, CO - Part 1

Keeping busy in the car
Last week we took the boys to their first week of Young Life camp...and they didn't want to come home!
Entering Colorado!

Mountains!

So precious to watch them sleep!
They look so sweet!

Almost to Young Life Camp!
Checking out the playground in the aspen grove.
Day 1 and I love this place already!

Playing inside Fort Chisman
Who's under that hat?

"My brother is SO silly!"

Pulling Daddy into the silliness...
"You can't see me under here...right?"

Our view of Mt. Princeton, in the Collegiate Peaks

Wrangler Breakfast

Arriving at breakfast on horseback

"What? I'm too messy?!"

Enjoying some french toast we "caught" on a plate

"Yes, I DID catch my own french toast"

Family picture, and my eyes are closed AGAIN!
Jamison on a pony ride - he had so much fun!
Nathanael was nervous at first...

So serious
The boys loved having "Daddy's day off" every day.
Looking up through the aspen trees at a perfectly blue sky...
Someone enjoyed the storage cubbies in our room
Dessert was quite the experience...
...everyone liked some part of it...
...and some of us liked all of it...

"How do I separate the chocolate from the lemon custard?"

Caught brown-handed!

Those who served us did so because they love Jesus - what great examples for our boys to see!

View from our balcony  :-)

I could get used to a balcony...

What's with these faces?!

"Hmmmm...what trouble can I cause today?"
More original artwork

Chipmunk...but where are the wranglers?
Visit to Frontier Ranch, where Brad went for YL Staff Training in 1995
Getting ready to start the hike

On the way up...check out that trail!
Sitting on a pile of rocks on top of the Continental Divide...amazing view!
